Livestock Policy

(please read our livestock policy)

Our Livestock Policy is simple:  All of our goats are healthy and well-cared for.  Because we cannot control the stress that may occur as a result of your new goat traveling or their new environment or management once they leave our farm,  your new goat cannot be returned.  We are not responsible for any stress, illness, death or development of your new goat.  You have the right to have the specified goat you want to purchase examined at our farm by a Veterinarian at your expense prior to the pick-up date. The Buyer must provide adequate fencing, food, care, shelter and fresh water for the animals.  It is NOT acceptable to keep animals tied-out.We also cannot guarantee milk production or temperament on any of our kids.  We will give you accurate descriptions of their parent’s character and/or milk records upon request if applicable.  Goats will be sold in pairs only unless it is determined that the Buyer already has goats. These are herd animals and must have a companion.

A non-refundable deposit of $50 (each animal) is required to reserve your selected choices after birth.  the kid(s) will then be reserved for you until the specified pick up date.  We will specify a certain date we expect the kids to be weaned and ready for their new home.  If we do not hear back from you within 5 days AFTER the specified pick up date….the kid will be offered up for sale and the deposit will not be refunded. All goats/kids are disbudded, up-to-date on vaccinations, de-wormed and overall goat related care has been taken care of before leaving. We are able to take deposits as cash or credit card.   Full payment must be paid on pick up date … no checks accepted.  If you have any questions or concerns please contact us at

Weaned kids may be picked up after 8 weeks of age.  There is NO shipping on animals.  All animals must be picked up at our farm.

By appointment ONLY.
